Exports

Pendraic exports your manuscript to Markdown, DOCX, and EPUB. The Export menu sits in the workspace header; pick a format and download. Each format preserves chapter and scene structure; covers ride along when present.

Formats

Markdown, chapter as H1, scene breaks as * * * dividers. Ideal for further editing in Markdown-aware tools.
DOCX, Microsoft Word format. Standard manuscript layout (12pt serif, double-spaced, indented first lines). Submitable to most agents and editors as-is.
EPUB, e-reader format. Includes cover image as page 1, table of contents derived from chapter list.

Covers

Covers attach to projects via the Cover image surface (project meta dialog or bookshelf card). EPUB embeds the cover; DOCX prepends it as page 1; Markdown references it by relative path. Generate covers with the AI generator, upload your own, or layer typography via the canvas overlay editor.

Page breaks + dividers

The slash command /page inserts a centered * * * divider in the prose, and the export composer translates that into a hard page break in DOCX and EPUB.
