How do I keep track of how my characters relate to each other?

Use the Family Trees tab on the worldbuilder for genealogy and the Story Index relationship field for everything else. Every relationship has three things worth recording: how they know each other, what they want from each other, and what they won't admit about each other. The third one is where the drama lives. Pendraic stores all of this so you can ask Penny "remind me what Aldra and Vellan want from each other" without re-reading the manuscript.
